Fearless and his soccer debut:)

Recently Fearless had his very first "real" soccer game. At their school, 4 - 6 grade can play on the soccer team and actually compete against area private schools. At first, Fearless was adament that he did not want to be in soccer. It's not a huge secret that he would rather spend his time at home, jumping on the trampoline or hanging out with Charlie and Skater Boy. But, Mommy and Daddy thought it would be good for him to try something new. "You never know if you'll like something unless you try it." Finally, after the first two practices had past, he consented to try "just to make mom happy!" What a great kid.....and as it so happens, he loved it. He loved it that is until they had practice for about three weeks and he was sick and tired of practicing. He kept saying he was going to quite, and once again I begged him to just try at least one game. "FINE...." So, the first game rolls around and he did so great! Although the team did not win, he didn't care so much. He got in the van and announced that he loved playing the game. I then asked if he still planned on quiting and he said..."nope, I'm going to stay in and play all the games!" We're so proud of him, it can be so difficult for him to go outside of his comfort level. It was so much fun watching them play and seeing them really give it all they had!

We love you Fearless...and I'm totally OK with becoming a "soccer mom!"

Ahh....all the yellow has scared off the competition...run away, yes...run away!!!

A boy and his sister....

Ah...Skater Boy and his sister....how he loves her so. This boy loves babies so much, I can hardly believe it. I'm not quite sure how to explain it, but he is so affectionate and loving with Lou that it truly warms my heart. I did not have him pose for this pic, I just finally decided to snap a shot of how he is with her. She is the first person he greets in the morning and after school. He just loves her....plain and simple!

Fort Fun!

The other day, we had a little old fashioned fort fun at our house. Little T and Louie ( along with cousin Greta) had so much fun playing in our makeshift home. I was actually surprised at how "into it" that Lou got. She definitely had as much fun as the older girls, maybe even more.
Peek - a - Boo!!

Yikes...what a face Lou!

Excuse me...can I get some earplugs please?

Ahhh yes, the Tinkertoy Band strikes again. I SERIOUSLY need to invest in some good earplugs, because let me tell you guys...my ears were aching like nobodys business after this show!!! The kids have added a few more instruments to their ensemble. We now have a clarinet, bongo drum, piano, guitar, recorder, and a crazy instrument that Michael bought at the Rennasaince festival and I have no idea how to spell it...so I won't even try:) Little Louie was even getting in on the action a bit, although for the most part she just loved walking around the craziness. Now please, if you know where I can get my hands on some good...I mean REALLY GOOD earplugs...let me know, please!

Under the Sea

Have I ever told you the story about a sweet little girl who dreamed of being a mermaid princess?? Well, here she is, we call her Little T and she LOVES Ariel and all things princess. This pint sized princess can sing songs from The Little Mermaid word for word, and does a pretty good job at it! The other day I was working on the computer and this is what she came upstairs wearing. She was incredibly proud of the "mermaid" outfit that she had put together. Ahhh, what a sweet little girl I have....love you T!!!

Fishin' in the Dark!

Over the Labor Day weekend, the boys were lucky enough to have some great uncles to take them fishing (Daddy was busy working all weekend!) Skater Boy went with Uncle Brett, while Fearless headed out with Uncle Brian. They both came home with a great catch that they were really proud of! Good job boys!
