Louie

This girl means so much to me, a precious gift from above!!  One of the five most precious gifts I've ever received, to be exact!

Let's Paint

Yesterday Little T had her friend over to play for the day.  The girls were peacefully painting pictures downstairs while I was putting some towels away in the bathroom.  Then I hear T saying, "let's go upstairs and see what my Mommy thinks.."  Okay, I'm interested in this!!  I turn the corner to see these lovely black faces.  "T..what did you do?"  Her response was the obvious, "Mommy, we painted our faces!"  To which I responded..."okay, up against the wall, time for your mugshot!!"  I could hardly contain my laughter...girls, so silly!!!

Little T and the Farm

Okay, so last week our little T had her very first field trip on a school bus!  She was very excited about this, in theory.  She woke up bright and early, ready to get dressed in her very best farm duds and head to the bus.  Oh, the ride was great and the excitement was building, lemme tell ya!  But, once we arrived at the actual farm, she quickly changed her tune.  I have to admit that I wasn't entirely shocked or suprised when she didn't want to pet the animals, or brush the ponies.  She is our timid little sweety and gets quite shy in new and unfamiliar situations.  No biggie, we just walked together hand in hand, sometimes I carried her, and we took in the sites together.  The one part of the trip that she did LOVE though, was our picnic lunch under the big evergreen trees.

Even if she isn't farmfolk, and would rather play with her barbies, it was a great day to spend with my precious fourth born.  These times spent one on one (in a sea of many) are few and far between, so I'll take it however it comes!  Love you Little T!!!!

Sunshine's Piano Recital

Last weekend, Sunshine had her first piano recital.  She was very excited about it, and had been practicing her piece over, and over, and over again.  At the last minute, her teacher asked her if she would like to play a duet with Mommy.  Of course!!!  We practiced this piece until the rest of the family couldn't stand it much longer, and we felt like Sunshine was all ready for her big day.

She got up in front of everyone, and played so very well.  I was quite proud of how she did, such a sweet girl that Sunshine is!  Then, it was time for the duet, and again it went off without a hitch.

Great job Sunshine, keep shining bright...you did great and we all love you!!!

Fearless and the track meet

Fearless and the rest of the 5th and 6th graders had their first track meet of the season today.  He was actually quite excited about it, ready to give it all he had!  He was going to be participating in the long jump and some running events.  I am very proud of my boy, look at him jumping and running, doing his best.....

.....and here he is again, doing his....well, doing WHAT he does best!!  My friend caught him in the act, climbing the goal posts and hanging from them.  Hilarious, I think I've said it before...some of my children are part monkey, and it all comes from their father!!!
