Remember the Mess...

So today I was just scrolling through some old pictures, trying to find just the right ones to develop, when I came across some "during construction" pictures. Seriously, I cannot believe that I survived this. Clearly, God had put blinders on me and gave me strength and patience way beyond my human capabilites. You all know by now that I don't like chaos or mess....and this was all of the above. I credit much to my husband for handling things when I couldn't. But..beauty did rise from the ashes...err I guess in this case, hidden behind layers of wallpaper:) We love it here, and it's fun to remember what a mess it was and how far we've come already.

Fearless and the soccer game

Fearless had his first soccer game of the season last night, on my birthday! We all bundled up and headed down to once again, cheer on our favorite little....errr not so little I guess....athlete. Grandma and Grandpa K even made it down, they had two to cheer for since Claire is on the same team. It was certainly a cold, windy, misty, and did I say cold, fall day??!! But, that doesn't stop 5th and 6th graders from running and playing their hearts out. Although they lost by two goals, I was so proud of how well Fearless did. He has improved since last year and seems to have a bit more confidence. We love being his cheerleaders...well at least most of us do, check out the last picture of Little T...I don't know if she really enjoyed the cold last night, adorable!!!
