Sniff..sniff...soccer's done:(

Well, Fearless and his team had their final soccer game a few weeks ago. They were supposed to play Stride Academy, however they didn't have enough players for a full team. So...instead they had a scrimmage to end the season (which they won by the way:) Fearless absolutely fell in love with playing soccer this fall, and was actually quite sad for it to end. Honestly, it was a wonderful outlet for the child who has energy in abundance....ahem FEARLESS!!! The team wrapped things up with an awards dinner at a local diner following the game. Unfortunately we were unable to attend since Daddy was working, I had all five little ones, and my kiddos are in bed by 8!! So, Claire stopped by after the dinner and gave Fearless his award that was presented. He got "Best Ball Handler" award and was also given the nickname "sunshine!" I was so proud of him and all of his hard work! Although, I don't know how Sunshine felt about her biggest brother stealing her nickname!

My little dancers...so cute:)

Sunshine and Little T had their first day of dance class this past Saturday. Dance class is nothing new for our little Miss Sunshine, she has done this before and loved it. However, Little T has never been in any type of organized activity, this was her very first. She has been eagerly anticipating the long awaited morning when she could finally put on her dance outfit and head out the door. In fact, when I woke her that morning and told her it was time to eat so we could go to class, her response was precious and priceless..."ohhhhh., thank you Mommy because I just love dance class!" Let me tell you guys, they don't come much sweeter than my little girls:) So we arrived at the studio (all six of us since Daddy was working:) and Little T had her class first. She was so ready, put on her shoes, fastened the name tag, talked a big game....then got into the class and......JUST STOOD THERE THE ENTIRE TIME!!!! She never moved, never smiled, she looked like a perfectly frozen little angel of a dancer. But, she didn't cry or want to come out so I just let her hang with it. Well...at the end of class the parents can come in to see what the little ones had learned. She took one look at me, and her chin started quivering. She was trying to hold it in, being really brave, but it got the better of her. She ran for my arms and just cuddled until it was all over. Now the real kicker is that when we got home, she proudly did her little dance routine that they had learned, like nothing had ever gone wrong. Oh, she is just so precious....I told Michael that she'll probably be that little girl at the dance recital that stands on the end and doesn't move a muscle. Oh well, at least she'll be cute!
Now, Sunshine on the other hand is a real pro. When Little T was done, Sunshine said "okay, now watch how I do it and see how I stay on my little X." She was so proud to be quite the little dancer for her sister to learn from. She did wonderful, as I figured she would. She is definitely a little go-getter and not nervous about things like this. I was really proud of both of them, and to be honest of the rest of my children too. They all had to sit and endure an hour and a half of dance class with nothing to entertain them...unless you count Louie as entertainment!

Colored leaves, dirt trails and lotsa, lotsa sunshine:)

Ahhh...isn't God good, and quite creative and artistic might I add. Seriously, fall is hands down my most favorite time of year. I love, love, love colored, crisp leaves and the smell of all things fall in the air. We have made it a tradition that we make the trek out to St. John's for a walk to the chapel every fall. I think that I look forward to this as soon as the kids start school. Hiking is one of my all time favorite past times, therefore my children partake and enjoy it as well. I think that Michael enjoys it too, although I don't know if he does as much as me, but he is a good sport about it! But if you ask me, what's not to love about it? It is so peaceful walking through the woods with the crisp leaves crunching under foot....mmmmmmm, I'm relaxing just typing about it! So, the fam made it there again this year and I did not forget to charge the camera battery before we left.

Boys and their snakes...good grief!

Isn't Little T dressed just perfectly for a hike through the woods...yeah, that's what I thought too! She sure is cute though:)

Mama and her girls....hmmmm, I love them!

Daddy and the boys!

Little Louie loved the ride, and the scenery!

Time to switch carriers....hope she doesn't mind!

Fairhaven Farms

A few weeks ago I was fortunate enough to chaperone a field trip for not one, but two of my beautiful children. You see, at the kids school, Kindergarten through 2nd grade typically go on field trips together. This is wonderful for me, since I will ALWAYS have two in these grades at the same time until little Louie is through Kindergarten:) So, for this trip we were all off to Fairhaven Farms. I have to say, that it was potentially the best field trip I have been on to date...and I have been on a lot of them. Basically, we all were able to walk through the farms sampling all the delicious fruit that they grew. First, we tried all the different types of grapes, then it was on to the monstrous raspberries (yumm-o!) and finally through to the Honeycrisp apples. I was not hungry when we left, to say the least. The grand finale of the trip was a corn maze that the kids were able to navigate through, it was a lot of fun! I am so blessed to be able to spend this time with my children, it creates such wonderful memories for all of us!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Happy 36th birthday Daddy!! The kids and Mommy made this cake earlier in the day, then decorated it super duper fast while Daddy ran to the store. That's called cake decorating speed style:) We love you Daddy!

The Cheerleader :)

Check out my cute little cheerleader....crumbs and all:) Little Louie was having a ball at the soccer game the other night (please pardon the unintentioned pun:) and was making quite a scene. She kept insisting on running out onto the field during Fearless's game. She is just so incredibly adorable, I can hardly stand it.
