Well, today proved to be a nearly perfect day for a lemonade stand. Little Miss Sunshine has been pestering me to set one up for her ever since my dear cousin gave us a kit for the stand. I figured our new locale would be awesome for one, plenty of traffic driving and walking by. I announced that we were set, and Skater Boy and Sunshine were all in, the rest were fair weather friends who helped when they were bored! Those two sat at that stand for at least 2 and a half hours, probably more! We had some very nice neighbors come over for some delicious juice, and some very nice people who just happened to stumble upon my little entrepreneurs. They were so excited, and always ended each transaction with "thank you for stopping, have a nice day!" Ahh...makes a mama proud! We finally ran out of lemonade just before supper and the grand total was $9.78...odd total isn't it?! Daddy came home with more stock and the kids want to go at it again tomorrow. Well...it keeps them out of mischief and I can think of a very good way to spend some extra cash...the DQ is just a stone's throw away now...better ask the kids:)
