Frog hunting we will go....

Today was very exciting at the Grabinski residence. Mommy was out mowing the lawn during nap time when one of the first frogs of the season jumped out from under the mower. I have to be honest, the boys have been waiting since last fall for the frogs to return. They just love hunting them, finding them a cozy home, and rustling up their grub. As soon as they came to rescue the poor thing, they were quickly on the hunt for frogs. They found 3 within a matter of minutes. Apparently, two toads and one raccoon frog (don't ask me how they know what kind it is...they just do!) Ava was getting in on the action as well this year. In the past, she didn't pay much attention to what her older brothers were doing. Not this time...she was right there with them....getting peed on by the toads (they do this as soon as the kids pick them up...YUCK!) Tessa enjoyed them as well, from a distance. Whatever her brothers and sister like, she likes!
The final picture is Jack pounding holes in their plywood cover so they could have air. Although, I am happy to announce that they decided to let them go before bed. I'm not worried though...there will be more frogs...probably a few snake too!
