Ahhhhhh.....Memorial Day spent up at the lake! Seriously, does life get much better than this. I must be honest, my children have been counting down the days until Memorial weekend since Labor Day...no kidding!! They absolutely love everything about heading up to Grandma and Grandpa's: spending time with ALL the cousins, swimming, boating, fishing, tubing, four-wheeling, eating, and even skateboarding!! We had some fantastic weather on Saturday, all sunshine and warmth. Just perfect for swimming and spending some time on the pontoon boat. Little T even got in on the swimming action this year, she just loved it. Grandpa bought a new tub that the kids can stand up in and Fearless and Skater Boy really enjoyed being pulled around the lake in it! We did have some chilly and rainy weather on Sunday, but the kids still had fun outside...nothing can stop them at the lake. In fact, one morning Fearless came to ask me where his clothes were at 5:30 AM....that's early people!! I told him to get his little tush back in bed since NO ONE would be up that early. He can hardly wait to start his day when he's at the lake!! It was a great weekend with the entire family...sans dear Noah and Mackensey....but the rest were there and it was fabulous!!!
