Our Dairy Queen Field Trip....yummy:)

Last week, with just one day left of school, the boys were going to be heading to the Dairy Queen as a special end of the year field trip. Of course, they wanted me to be able to go but with all the kiddos at home it was just out of the question....or was it?! I thought about it for a brief moment, and decided what a better thing to do with the ones at home...we'll make it a special field trip for us too!!! So, shortly after lunch, I piled the five little ones into the van and we were headed to the DQ for some good ole dilly bars....yummy!! We were there plenty early to finish off our treats before the buses from school arrived. They wanted to wait and say hi to Fearless, Skater Boy and their cousin before heading home. Let me tell you what...they thought they were pretty cool hanging out with all the "big kids"...it was pretty cute! It was a wonderful treat and a great way to spend some of our afternoon:)
