A Great Snowy Day!

Well, today was a great day at the Grabinski's. It started off with all of us waking up to a great snow storm. There is something magical about snow that seems to perk up everyone's mood! We all got bundled up right away this morning and went outside to enjoy the beauty! The woods behind our house were so pretty, it truly looked like something out of a book. Daddy, Jack and Elijah spent plenty of time plowing the driveway..then they all headed to the backyard for a little snowboarding and sledding! Sometimes I don't know who enjoys it more, the boys or their dad! The girls and Mommy enjoyed making snow angels and just watching the snow fall. Tessa was in awe, she hasn't had much time outside this winter.....she just loved it!! After a couple hours, it was time to come in for hot chocolate. The kids call the cups of cocoa "mugs full of love." We fill them up and put whipped cream on top. It's these little traditions that are so important for little ones. Since we were basically snowed in, we decided to make the most of it. After Tessa went down for a nap we decided to make two more kinds of Christmas cookies. Michael was happy since we made his favorite...marshmallow Christmas wreaths. We ended the night with Taco's (Mommy's request) and stories. It was just one of the great days that can really bring a family together. Everyone had such a great day and I am so thankful for such a wonderful family. God has truly blessed us with these beautiful children!!
