A Trip to the Hospital:(

Well, Tessa has continued to be sick with diarrhea and her refusal to drink anything. Daddy brought her to the doctor on Saturday morning (because now Mommy is sick as well) and the doctor suggested we take her to the hospital. Daddy didn't want to make that decision without me, so he brought her home. She actually seemed to start doing a little bit better, being able to keep some solid foods down with throwing them back up. However, as they day went on she continued to refuse any sort of liquid and continued to have diarrhea. Mommy was getting nervous because she was sleeping all day and very lethargic. Shortly after six last night we made the decision to bring her into the hospital before her dehydration would get out of control. Daddy brought her in because Mommy was still running a temp, and he didn't get completely settled in a room with an iv until 11:30pm....uggghhh!!!
They said she would have to stay at least for 24 hours, but cannot leave until she will eat and drink on her own. I just spoke with Michael and few minutes ago, and she still won't drink...although I guess he got her to eat a little bit of jell-o.
We continue to pray that the Lord will bring her healing and give her the urge to drink once again.
